OneScreen.ai•Boston, MA
•$110,000 - $150,000

About The Position

Onescreen is hiring an experienced Senior OOH Media Planner to own the strategy and execution of out-of-home campaigns across clients and verticals. The role leads vendor relationships and negotiations, guides junior planners, and helps improve planning craft and the Onescreen platform. The planner works independently, collaborates with account executives, account managers, creative teams, clients, senior decision makers, and Product, and contributes to stronger planning processes and best practices. The role calls for a builder’s mindset: improving planning processes by documenting, testing, and standardizing better approaches; partnering with Product to translate campaign needs into structured requirements and close platform gaps; using audience, market, and performance insights to shape client strategy; and sharing learnings across campaigns through playbooks, platform improvements, and future recommendations. Success includes owning active campaigns, negotiating with vendors, presenting plans, identifying workflow and platform friction, and mentoring junior team members.

Requirements

  • Three to five years of experience in OOH media planning, with demonstrated ownership of client campaigns.
  • Strong working knowledge of audience and measurement tools such as Geopath, Nielsen, Google Analytics, or similar.
  • Advanced spreadsheet skills.
  • Comfort using web-based planning platforms.
  • Exposure to campaign evaluation and attribution methodologies.
  • Knowledge of out-of-home media, retail media networks, and ad tech/programmatic.
  • Ability to operate independently and exercise sound judgment on priorities.
  • Confidence presenting and defending recommendations.
  • Interest and ability in developing others.
  • A builder’s mindset, including curiosity about how systems work, systems thinking, and a drive to improve processes and the platform.

Responsibilities

  • Own audience strategy, market selection, and format mix for campaigns, and build recommendations tied to client objectives.
  • Manage OOH vendor relationships and lead negotiations to secure value, placement, and added-value opportunities.
  • Collaborate with account executives, account managers, and creative teams on campaign objectives.
  • Present plans to clients and senior decision makers alongside the account executive, and lead client presentations with the account executive.
  • Use the Onescreen platform as a power user and surface product feedback to the Product team.
  • Mentor and review the work of junior planners and associates.
  • Contribute to planning processes, best practices, and playbooks.
  • Own a full book of active campaigns and deliver plans within planning service-level agreements.
  • Map the planning workflow, identify process gaps and platform friction, and share recommendations with Planning leadership and Product.
  • Document, test, and standardize improvements to slow, manual, or inconsistent planning steps.
  • Bring structured requirements to Product, pressure-test new features on live plans, and identify workarounds and other product gaps.
  • Use audience, market, and performance insights to challenge briefs when appropriate and inform where OOH fits in a client’s broader media mix.
  • Share patterns across campaigns, client objections, and vendor gaps to inform planning playbooks, platform improvements, and future recommendations.
