About The Position

With limited supervision, the Senior Manager is responsible for the daily operations of a restaurant’s front-of-house (FOH) and back-of-house (BOH) functions. The role oversees appearance, presentation, the customer experience, and professional leadership and direction of employees. The Senior Manager contributes to staffing, team development, safety, compliance, operational standards, guest service, and restaurant growth while participating as a member of the management team.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of salaried restaurant management experience.
• Hands-on experience in both front-of-house (FOH) and back-of-house (HOH) operations.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Willingness to relocate within the assigned region.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a full casual dining or casual plus environment.
• Computer skills.
• Bilingual ability.

Responsibilities

• Assist with staffing by scheduling, recruiting, interviewing, and hiring while maintaining employment quality standards aligned with the Outback Steakhouse brand.
• Actively participate in the career growth of hourly team members.
• Implement security protocols to help ensure the safety of employees and guests.
• Champion development paths that help Outbackers reach career goals and support internal management promotions.
• Comply with operational standards, company policies, applicable laws, and ordinances, and ensure health inspections meet required state standards.
• Provide employees with direction and guidance to ensure operational basics and standards are followed.
• Participate as a member of the management team.
• Respond to guest comments and seek opportunities to build guest count while empowering and educating other team members to do the same.
• Set strong examples of customer service and work practices.
• Maintain knowledge of the menu and food preparation.
• Engage in community and market-related opportunities at the restaurant.
