About The Position
Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Senior Manager in Package and Technology Enablement in Morristown, New Jersey. The role leads SAP software advisory and implementation services, helping companies realize value from technology investments through discrete services or comprehensive solutions. It directs IT project strategy by analyzing business solutions and selecting relevant SAP tools and techniques to meet requirements, interpret outputs, and report findings. The Senior Manager oversees service excellence for key accounts, identifies engagement needs, validates analyses, and develops recommendations. The role leads proposal development and contributes to pricing strategies, builds relationships with qualified prospects and decision makers, advises pursuit teams throughout the sales process, and supports internal process improvement and SAP knowledge sharing. The position requires 50% national travel. Telecommuting is permitted.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, a STEM field, or a related field, and four years of related work experience; alternatively, a bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent and six years of progressive related work experience.
- Four years of experience managing project strategy and analyzing business solutions, including business cases, pricing, or complex financial analysis, and interpreting and reporting outputs using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Four years of experience leading business development activities, including proposal development and RFP responses, eminence, and point-of-view development.
- Four years of experience counseling and coaching, participating in staff recruitment and retention, and supporting delivery teams and staff in local offices.
- Four years of experience managing executive and sponsor interactions, maintaining relationships with top decision makers, and organizing and leading pursuit teams.
- Four years of experience leading engagement components, evaluating client businesses, modernizing core systems, and applying SAP digital solutions using BTM, ITSM, Agile, SAP Activate, and Traditional Waterfall methodologies.
- Four years of experience evaluating organizational technology needs, developing strategies to increase company profitability, and designing and implementing plans for legislative compliance and business growth using Blue Prism, SAP Signavio, Automation Anywhere, UiPath, and Celonis.
- Four years of experience leading global project teams and delivery, and tracking and resolving budget, scope, and resource issues and risks using MS Project, Power BI, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Four years of experience leading and managing large SAP S/4 HANA implementations in Consumer-Packaged Goods and Retail industries.
Responsibilities
- Lead SAP software advisory and implementation services.
- Direct IT project strategy by analyzing business solutions and selecting suitable SAP tools and techniques.
- Manage service excellence by identifying key account issues and project needs, evaluating and validating analysis, and developing engagement recommendations.
- Lead IT project proposal development and contribute to proposal pricing strategies.
- Build relationships with qualified targets and decision makers to uncover opportunities.
- Manage the pursuit process and advise pursuit teams throughout the sales process.
- Improve internal processes and promote SAP knowledge sharing through contributions to the community of practice, blogs, and other market-eminence activities.
- Lead business development activities, including proposal and RFP responses, eminence, and point-of-view development.
- Coach and counsel staff, participate in recruitment and retention, and support delivery teams and local-office staff.
- Manage day-to-day interactions with executives and sponsors, maintain contact with top decision makers, and organize and lead pursuit teams.
- Lead engagement components involving evaluation of client businesses, modernization of core systems, and SAP digital solutions.
- Evaluate organizational technology needs, develop profitability strategies, and design and implement plans to comply with legislation and support business growth.
- Lead global project teams and project delivery; track and resolve issues and risks involving budget, scope, and resources.
