Senior Manager, Service Operations & Enablement

Cerebras Systems•Sunnyvale, CA

About The Position

Cerebras Systems is seeking a Senior Manager, Service Operations & Enablement to build and own the operating capabilities needed to support Cerebras infrastructure throughout its service lifecycle. As infrastructure expands across colocation facilities and customer on-premises environments, this leader will ensure deployments progress from technical completion to operational readiness and that the people operating them have the knowledge, procedures, and capabilities to succeed. The role owns Operational Readiness, On-Prem O&M, Operator Enablement, Training & Certification, operational knowledge management, and operational due diligence for new infrastructure environments. The mission is to help every deployment enter and remain in production by establishing readiness, enabling operators, and creating a repeatable operations and maintenance model across Cerebras-operated, partner-operated, and customer-operated environments. The role also partners with the Colocation/DC Contracts organization to assess prospective data center environments and provide operational requirements and recommendations to the commercial contracting process; commercial ownership remains with that organization. The successful candidate will create standards without unnecessary bureaucracy and measure enablement through demonstrated operational capability.

  • Build training and competency frameworks for people operating Cerebras infrastructure.
  • Develop training for Central Ops, SiteOps/DC Ops technicians, partners, and customer operators.
  • Establish role-based curricula covering Cerebras systems, cluster operation, monitoring, troubleshooting, maintenance, escalation, and recovery.
  • Establish operator qualification and certification standards.

  • Create practical drills and simulations for critical operational scenarios.
  • Establish the operational knowledge-management framework.
