About The Position

Charger Logistics Inc. is seeking an experienced transport refrigeration professional to lead technical troubleshooting, equipment reliability, and breakdown escalation across its North American refrigerated trailer operations in Canada, the United States, and Mexico. The role is based at one of the company’s operating locations in Brampton/Greater Toronto Area, Dallas–Fort Worth, or Querétaro. The position combines substantial hands-on experience with Thermo King and/or Carrier Transicold equipment with the leadership and judgment needed to resolve critical situations involving customers, drivers, dispatchers, technicians, and external service providers. The objective is to maximize refrigerated trailer reliability, prevent cargo losses, reduce equipment downtime, and build technical capabilities throughout the organization. The successful candidate will serve as the senior technical escalation point for complex reefer failures, lead technical responses to roadside breakdowns and temperature-control incidents, coach and develop maintenance teams, improve preventive maintenance and fleet reliability, and coordinate with OEMs and service providers. They will work closely with operations, dispatch, account management, customer service, and senior leadership, translating technical issues into clear operational recommendations and maintaining accountability through resolution. The role is based in one of Charger’s North American operating locations and involves regular collaboration across Canadian, U.S., and Mexican terminals. Periodic travel to terminals, maintenance facilities, and manufacturer locations is expected. The position participates in a structured critical-incident escalation rotation. Salary will be determined based on experience and qualifications.
