Tutor Intelligence is hiring a Technical Program Manager, Fleet Reliability to build the tools, data systems, and operating processes needed to support its growing fleet of robots deployed at customer production sites across North America. The role identifies breakdowns and bottlenecks in current operations, determines what should be built, delivers an initial solution, puts it into use with the people who need it, and continues improving it until it can run independently. The position leads investigations into difficult robot failures by analyzing logs, field reports, and parts history, consulting technicians, developing and testing theories, and validating that fixes hold. Projects may include technician training tools, issue tracking that connects telemetry with field observations, predictive failure tooling, technician capacity planning, and defining useful reliability data. The role uses code and AI agents to automate work, ships early versions for feedback, collaborates with engineering, customer success, and field technicians, and documents processes so others can run them. It reports to the Head of Robot Operations and Reliability. This is an in-office role in Watertown, Massachusetts, with travel to customer sites and regional teams as needed, roughly 10–25%. The position may suit an early-career candidate with clear momentum or someone with five or more years of experience seeking greater ownership. The stated experience requirement is 2–7 years in a technical program management, industrial engineering, engineering, operations, or similar technical role.
