About The Position

Walmart is hiring a Senior Manager, Campus Operations (Facilities Maintenance), to oversee multiple campus buildings across California and Washington. In this role, you’ll lead first-party and third-party teams responsible for keeping buildings running smoothly. You will handle maintenance, vendor management, repairs, large projects, and long-term building upkeep. This role is ideal for someone who knows facilities operations inside and out and has experience managing multiple buildings, contractors, and teams at scale. You’ll work closely with landlords, service providers, and internal partners to solve problems, improve building operations, and make sure every location is well maintained. We’re looking for someone who can step into a large, complex operation, build strong relationships, and confidently lead both day-to-day work and long-term planning. This position is based in California and supports multiple locations across the region.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations, or related field and 3 years’ experience in operations, project management, or related area OR 5 years’ experience in operations, project management, or related area.
  • 1 year’s supervisory experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in facilities operations, campus operations, building maintenance, or infrastructure management.
  • Experience managing multiple buildings, campuses, or large properties.
  • Strong knowledge of facility systems including roofing, concrete, parking lots, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.
  • Experience leading teams and managing outside contractors and vendors.
  • Comfortable working with landlords and handling leased property issues.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee operations across multiple campus buildings and office locations in California (Sunnyvale, San Bruno and Los Angeles) and Washington (Belleview).
  • Lead teams handling maintenance, repairs, vendor coordination, large and small facility projects.
  • Manage building issues related to HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing, concrete, EV Chargers, parking lots, landscaping, windows, doors and other facility systems and infrastructure.
  • Develop long-term maintenance plans and help prioritize Capital projects and Operational expenses.
  • Work with landlords, contractors, consultants, and vendors to resolve issues and keep projects moving.
  • Oversee service contracts, Master Service Agreements (MSA) and Scopes of Work (SOW) for custodial, maintenance, and building support and infrastructure services.
  • Help ensure buildings are clean, functional, safe, and consistent across locations.
  • Support new building openings, moves, and workplace setup projects.
  • Track team performance, work orders, and vendor activity to make sure work is completed on time, on budget and at a high standard.
  • Navigate California-specific building requirements, vendor relationships, and compliance needs.
