About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Corporate Systems & Security to lead the technology backbone of our organization. This role owns the strategy, administration, reliability, and security of our corporate IT systems, including both Microsoft and Google cloud and productivity platforms. You will lead a small team, partner with stakeholders across the business, and serve as the senior authority on workstation administration, identity management, endpoint security, and Corporate IT compliance. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who balances day-to-day operational excellence with long-term planning and risk management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8+ years of progressive IT experience, including 3+ years managing systems and/or security functions or teams.
  • Demonstrated, in-depth knowledge administering Microsoft 365 and Entra ID (Azure AD), including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint/OneDrive, Intune, and security/compliance controls.
  • Demonstrated, in-depth knowledge administering Google Workspace, including the Admin Console, Gmail, Drive, identity/SSO, and security settings.
  • Strong background in IT security: identity and access management, MFA/SSO, endpoint protection, and incident response.
  • Experience managing IT operations, vendors, licensing, and budgets.
  • Proven people-leadership skills and excellent written and verbal communication.

Nice To Haves

  • Security certifications: CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent.
  • Platform certifications: Microsoft certifications (e.g., MS-102, Azure/Entra) and Google Workspace Administrator certification.
  • Compliance frameworks: Hands-on experience supporting SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, or similar.
  • Experience with MDM/endpoint management, SIEM, and zero-trust security models.
  • Familiarity with scripting/automation (PowerShell, Google Apps Script) and SaaS integration/identity tooling (e.g., Okta).
  • Experience using AI assistants such as Claude and Gemini to improve IT productivity, automation, documentation, and support workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Own the roadmap, architecture, and day-to-day operations of corporate IT systems, ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability.
  • Administer and optimize Microsoft 365 / Entra ID and Google Workspace environments, including identity, mail, collaboration, file storage, and device management.
  • Define and enforce security policies, manage identity and access controls, oversee endpoint protection, and lead incident response and vulnerability remediation. Develop, monitor and manage security training and evaluation.
  • Manage SSO, MFA, conditional access, provisioning/deprovisioning, and least-privilege access across all corporate platforms.
  • Support audit and compliance efforts (e.g., SOC 2, PCI) by maintaining controls, documentation, and evidence.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a small team of IT/systems administrators; set goals, manage performance, and build a culture of service and accountability.
  • Manage software licensing, vendor relationships, renewals, and the IT operating budget to control cost and ensure value.
  • Oversee IT support operations and onboarding/offboarding, ensuring a high-quality employee technology experience.
  • Drive automation, documentation, and continuous improvement of IT processes and controls.
  • Ensure we have employee equipment purchase, replacement and renewal within budget.
