About The Position

Archive is seeking a Sr. Manager of Account-Based Marketing (ABM) to lead the company's strategy for engaging target brands. This role focuses on building a systematic approach to account-level marketing, targeting approximately 300 named brands across various consumer goods sectors. The position requires a deep understanding of precision, brand craft, and creativity to effectively reach and influence buying committees within these accounts. The ideal candidate will map out buying committees, understand individual stakeholder motivations (e.g., sustainability, margin recovery, technical evaluation), and orchestrate multi-channel outreach sequences. This role involves owning the account universe, identifying buying signals, executing multi-channel plays, and managing the underlying systems and tooling. Close collaboration with Account Executives is essential for success.

Requirements

  • 4+ years in ABM, demand generation, growth marketing, or outbound strategy, with at least some B2B experience in considered, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
  • Direct ABM experience, including running account-level campaigns, mapping buying committees, and sequencing multi-channel touches.
  • Exceptional writing skills, with the ability to research brands and individuals to produce outreach that earns a reply.
  • Systems thinking ability, with experience designing ABM engines that connect research, signal, sequencing, and reporting.
  • AI-native, with experience building or rebuilding at least two AI-driven workflows for signal detection, account/contact research, or content generation.
  • Creative and relentless approach to finding unconventional angles into accounts.
  • Proven ability to execute and build ABM programs independently.
  • Strong organizational skills to drive commitments from AEs and BDRs without direct authority.
  • Ability to build credibility and trust with sellers and other functions.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and modern GTM/ABM stacks (e.g., Clay, Apollo, Sales Navigator, Gong, HubSpot).
  • Data literacy, comfort owning a number, reporting account-level progress, and explaining performance drivers.
  • A passion for sustainability and the power of secondhand shopping.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience selling into retail, fashion, apparel, or consumer brands.
  • Experience with intent-data or signal-monitoring platforms in an ABM context.
  • Events experience, including conferences, hosted dinners, and in-person networking.
  • Salesforce administration or RevOps depth.
  • Experience as the first or only ABM/demand-gen hire at a company.

Responsibilities

  • Own the account-based marketing target, including meetings held and opportunities created across the named account list.
  • Accurately forecast ABM performance and report progress on an account-by-account basis.
  • Own and segment the ~300 target accounts, defining buying committees and developing tailored plays for each group.
  • Orchestrate 1:1 plays for priority accounts, 1:few cluster plays for mid-tier accounts, and scaled-but-personal sequencing for the long tail.
  • Monitor buying signals at both the account and individual stakeholder levels to determine optimal engagement timing and channels.
  • Orchestrate multi-channel outreach including email, LinkedIn, paid social, direct mail, events, and warm introductions, ensuring they work together cohesively per account.
  • Design and manage the automation and tooling for consistent sequencing of outreach.
  • Write and direct AI to write outbound content, including BASHOs, executive outreach, sequences, and campaign copy, ensuring brand voice, accuracy, and craft.
  • Develop creative and unconventional strategies to gain access to target accounts that have not responded to conventional outreach.
  • Design and own the ABM system, including research, signal detection, enrichment, sequencing, CRM integration, and reporting.
  • Partner with RevOps to manage the ABM technology stack and attribution model.
  • Run paid media as air cover, targeting specific accounts rather than broad audiences.
  • Implement and refine AI-driven workflows for signal monitoring, research/enrichment, and content generation.
  • Partner closely with Account Executives, coordinating account strategy, ensuring the quality of all touches, and maintaining momentum on active accounts.
