About The Position

Berkshire Hathaway GUARD Insurance Companies is hiring a Senior Liability Adjuster for its Major Case Unit to manage approximately 80–115 commercial general liability claims. The caseload includes large-loss, highly litigated matters with exposures up to and exceeding policy limits. The role may be based at any of the listed company office locations and follows a hybrid schedule of two remote days and three in-office days.

Requirements

At least 10 years of experience adjusting CGL and BOP liability claims, or equivalent experience.
Advanced knowledge of coverage analysis and policy interpretation.
Experience evaluating contracts, priority of coverage, and risk transfer opportunities.
Strong written, verbal, analytical, and organizational skills.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage a complex claims caseload.
Ability to travel occasionally for mediations, hearings, trials, and conferences.
Must hold an active adjuster license or be willing and able to obtain and maintain all required state licenses, including continuing education requirements.

Responsibilities
