About The Position

WEKA is seeking a Senior Internal & Executive Communications Manager to build and scale its internal communications program, defining the infrastructure, cadences, and engagement strategies that help a fast-moving global company communicate with and inspire its employees. The role brings WEKA’s story—building infrastructure for the AI era—to life for employees and uses AI in communications drafting, production, and measurement while applying strong editorial judgment. Reporting to the VP of Corporate Marketing, the manager will lead flagship internal events and strategy and announcement rollouts. The role advises senior leaders on high-stakes communications and requires composure, discretion, executive presence, and polish. It combines strategic program development with hands-on execution, operational discipline, and measurement.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of progressive experience in internal, executive, or corporate communications.
  • At least 3 years of experience working directly with VP- and C-level executives.
  • Executive presence and polish, including composure, credibility with senior leaders, and discretion with sensitive and confidential information.
  • Exceptional writing ability across company-wide emails, keynote outlines, organizational announcements, and other formats.
  • Experience producing large-scale internal events such as Company Kickoff, Sales Kickoff, and All Hands, including content development and production logistics.
  • Change communications experience in real-world conditions.
  • A track record of building or materially elevating an internal communications program, with demonstrable systems, cadences, or playbooks.
  • Ability to operate as a senior individual contributor, balancing strategic vision with fast, high-quality hands-on execution.
  • Demonstrated AI fluency, including daily use of AI tools in communications work and judgment about where human input is essential.
  • Experience in a rapidly scaling, high-growth global company.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with a founder-led enterprise software or deep tech company, preferably in AI and/or data infrastructure.
  • Experience partnering with People or HR teams on culture and engagement programs.
  • Familiarity with internal communications measurement platforms and intranet analytics.
  • Video or multimedia production experience.

Responsibilities

  • Produce virtual internal events end to end, including the annual Company Kickoff, quarterly All Hands, and monthly Town Halls; develop agendas and executive content, provide talking points and preparation support, oversee run of show and production, coordinate webinars, and manage post-event surveys and follow-up.
  • Advise senior executives, in close collaboration with the VP of Corporate Marketing, on internal messaging, presentations, talk tracks, change management plans, and organizational communications.
  • Build internal launch moments for company strategy, product milestones, news updates, and major announcements.
  • Prepare leaders for high-stakes internal moments by anticipating employee questions, developing Q&A, and coaching responses and delivery.
  • Own the internal channel strategy and editorial calendar, choosing appropriate channels such as Slack, email, video, or live events.
  • Translate WEKA’s corporate narrative for internal audiences and connect the company’s and industry’s AI direction to employees’ work.
  • Partner with the People team on engagement and culture programming.
  • Support sensitive organizational change communications with People, Legal, and Finance, including planning, sequencing, message development, and manager enablement.
  • Contribute to issues and crisis communications preparedness, including pre-staged materials and internal escalation communications.
  • Create repeatable playbooks and templates for recurring events and organizational announcements.
  • Build AI-assisted workflows for communications drafting, production, and measurement.
  • Use readership, engagement, and message pull-through data to guide decisions and improve programs.
  • Manage intake, planning, and cross-functional coordination so internal communications operates as a program.
