About the position
This position is responsible for supporting and partnering with assigned client groups as the initial contact within Domo HR. The role involves driving strategies, implementing key people initiatives, and addressing strategic and operational opportunities. The focus is on leveraging business acumen, developing manager capability, and optimizing the productivity of individuals and teams. The role also involves ensuring compliance with HR programs and policies, delivering innovative HR solutions, and championing the Domo culture.
Responsibilities
- Partners with clients to understand business drivers and challenges, and applies talent solutions to address strategic and operational opportunities.
- Utilizes business acumen, competitive insights, external benchmarking, and internal data to inform decisions on organizational design, compensation practices, and engagement initiatives.
- Develops the skills and capabilities of the diverse, global workforce to facilitate employee career growth.
- Acts as an employee advocate and provides counsel to executives and managers on performance issues and team productivity optimization.
- Raises issues and collaboratively identifies solutions that meet the needs of the client group(s), and champions those initiatives.
- Drives a high-performance culture in partnership with client group management.
- Ensures compliance and consistent application of HR programs, policies, and practices within assigned client group(s).
- Partners with HR professionals in various areas to deliver innovative and impactful solutions, including Talent Acquisition, People Operations, Total Rewards, DEI, Learning, Talent Management, and HRBP teams.
- Oversees employee transaction paperwork, creation, submission, and filing.
- Provides development training and coaching on policy and best practices to management and individuals as needed.
- Champions Domo culture, vision, and values in personal work and interactions with others.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
