About The Position

Onboarded is seeking a hands-on B2B marketer to build demand generation from the ground up. The Senior Growth Marketing Manager will own demand generation strategy and execution, including paid advertising, from reaching target buyers to creating qualified sales opportunities. The primary audience is product and engineering leaders at HR technology and workforce software companies, and businesses building their own hiring products; staffing firms and high-volume employers are secondary audiences. This is a senior individual contributor role on a small marketing team, with meaningful ownership and the opportunity to contribute across marketing as company needs evolve. The role reports directly to the Head of Marketing and collaborates with the GTM engineer, who owns outbound and the CRM, as well as the sales team. The marketer will set priorities for audiences, channels, and campaigns, launch and optimize programs, and use AI and automation extensively to make the team more effective. Success includes taking over LinkedIn campaigns and launching measurable demand tests in the first 30 days, reaching target accounts and booking qualified meetings by day 60, and using results by day 90 to refine investment and establish a monthly qualified-meeting target. Onboarded offers a remote-first culture with periodic in-person collaboration.

Requirements

  • 5 to 7 years of B2B marketing experience, including hands-on demand generation and qualified pipeline generation.
  • Personally managed B2B paid campaigns and understand targeting, creative testing, conversion optimization, attribution, and budget management.
  • Experience building a channel or program from scratch through its first pipeline, ideally with a limited budget and a clearly defined audience.
  • Understanding of complex B2B buying journeys, including reaching decision-makers, building interest over time, tailoring campaigns to audiences, and working with sales through longer buying cycles.
  • Ability to identify opportunities, develop plans, write copy, launch campaigns, and analyze results, while remaining comfortable with hands-on execution.
  • Fluency using AI to run, test, and build marketing campaigns, reporting, and page changes; experience building workflows that replace manual work.
  • Strong written communication skills and comfort writing ad and landing-page copy, nurture emails, or newsletter sections as needed.
  • Initiative, adaptability, collaboration, and resourcefulness, including the ability to make recommendations and adjust priorities as results emerge.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in B2B SaaS, HR technology, workforce technology, or marketing to technical buyers.

Responsibilities

  • Set paid advertising strategy, including channel mix, targeting, spend allocation within the established budget, and campaign optimization.
  • Build and manage paid campaigns, including targeting, creative, landing pages, testing, and performance reporting; determine when to scale, adjust, or stop spending.

  • Own campaigns end to end, including targeting, copy and creative, landing pages, and follow-up; adapt established positioning and messaging for different audiences and work with sales to turn engagement into opportunities.
  • Build and optimize conversion paths, lead capture, nurture, and handoffs, partnering with the GTM engineer on full-funnel automation and systems.
  • Own campaign and funnel reporting across GA4, advertising platforms, self-reported attribution, and AI referrals.
  • Define a hypothesis, metric, and stop point for each test; use results to determine what to scale, change, or stop and recommend when the budget should grow.
  • Help with logistics for conferences and field events and ensure event conversations receive follow-up.
  • Contribute ideas, help shape marketing strategy, and support other marketing priorities as the company grows.
  • Use AI and automation to build and improve campaigns, reporting, and page changes, replacing manual work with workflows.
