About the position
We are seeking an experienced Senior Growth Marketing Manager to join our team at Output. As a leading music-making software company, we are dedicated to helping creative individuals enhance their music with cutting-edge technology. With a focus on inspiring a new generation of music makers, we are revolutionizing the way creators make music by providing groundbreaking products and a platform that brings the power of a studio to anyone, anywhere. In this role, you will be responsible for driving scalable growth through paid social channels, expanding into untapped channels, and collaborating with the marketing and creative team to deliver performance results.
Responsibilities
- Own the business outcomes of Paid Social channels such as YouTube, Reddit, Twitch, TikTok, and Meta
- Roll out new channels, both digital and OTT (Podcasts, TV, etc.), and analyze their effectiveness through LTV/CAC analysis
- Serve as a thought partner to the Senior Director, Growth Marketing and collaborate with the User Acquisition team
- Communicate channel results to the broader marketing and creative team in a digestible and actionable manner
- Partner with the Creative Director to test and explore creative concepts
- Work with Data Analytics to leverage internal data in channels and improve eLTV/tCPA and attribution methodologies
- Develop a roadmap with test plans, goals, strategy, and measurement for continuous improvement
- Conduct post-campaign analysis to identify successes, failures, and future testing opportunities
- Optimize performance marketing campaigns to meet or exceed targets
- Manage channel level relationships with platform representatives
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscapes, and new technologies affecting digital marketing and distribution platforms
- Have 5-8 years of experience in performance marketing with in-platform media buying experience
- Expand channels from 0-1, including digital and OTT channels
- Have experience in a subscription business model
- Have experience with a niche-consumer product or in the B2B space
- Have a track record of hitting paid campaign performance goals and conducting creative experimentation
- Possess advanced Excel and data analytics tools skills (Google Analytics, Looker / Tableau, Datastudio)
- Be a dual-brained performance marketer with a focus on data and emotional connection
- Have empathy for the customer and an interest in music production
- Manage media buying in-platform day-to-day as an IC role
- Be a self-starter comfortable with ownership and the fast pace of an early-stage growth business
- Bridge functions together for the best outcomes, including data analytics, creative, and performance marketing
Requirements
- 5-8 years experience in performance marketing with in-platform media buying experience
- Experience in channel expansion and taking new channels from 0-1. This may include both digital and OTT channels
- Must have subscription business model experience
- Experience with a niche-consumer product or in the B2B-space required
- Track record of hitting paid campaign performance goals and creative experimentation
- Advanced Excel and data analytics tools skills (Google Analytics, Looker / Tableau, Datastudio); ability to analyze data and summarize takeaways for a broad audience
- Dual brained performance marketer focused on the science of data while understanding the importance of emotional connection
- Deep empathy for the customer, interest or experience in making music on a computer or music production not required but a strong plus
- Interest and ability to manage media buying in-platform day-to-day. This is an IC role.
- Self-starter; comfortable with ownership and fast pace of an early stage growth business while simultaneously not working in a silo and bridging functions together for the best outcomes (data analytics, creative, performance marketing). Ideal candidate has in-house experience.

- Base salary range of $100,000 - $150,000 (Los Angeles)
- Actual compensation determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law
