About the position
Output is seeking a data professional to join their team and support their fast-growing business. Reporting to the Director of Data, this role will involve optimizing operational data and systems, building best practices for data visualization and reporting, collaborating with internal stakeholders, and analyzing complex data sets to provide insights and recommendations. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment, and experience with ERP systems, SQL, and BI tools. Responsibilities
- Optimize operational data and systems to scale with Output's growth
- Identify and implement processes and analytics across planning and management reporting
- Build, standardize, and formalize best practices for data visualizations, dashboards, and internal presentations
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather business requirements and deliver reporting solutions
- Make recommendations for new metrics, techniques, and strategies to improve operational metrics
- Work on ERP functional improvements and financial system initiatives
- Manipulate and analyze large and complex data sets to distill insights
- Communicate complex information in an easy-to-understand format
- Champion cross-functional alignment on operational metric definitions, data hygiene, and data governance
- Get into the details and get the job done while also seeing the bigger picture
- Work in a remote, fast-paced, and highly collaborative environment
- Possess outstanding software and system skills, including experience with ERP, subscription billing systems, and backend payment processors
- Intermediate SQL skills required; skills in R or Python preferred
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform/BigQuery or equivalent cloud platform
- Experience with Looker or equivalent BI tools
- Experience with data modeling and ETL/ELT technologies
- 3+ years of experience in similar business intelligence and/or business analytics roles

- Outstanding software and system skills, including experience with ERP, subscription billing systems, and backend payment processors
- Intermediate SQL skills, with knowledge of other analytics-focused programming languages preferred (R or Python)
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform/BigQuery or equivalent cloud platform
- Experience with Looker or equivalent BI tools
- Experience with data modeling and ETL/ELT technologies
- 3+ years of experience in similar business intelligence and/or business analytics roles

- Competitive base salary range ($75,000 - $110,000 in Los Angeles)
