About The Position

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Senior Global Market Development Manager for its Bioprocessing Filtration and Separation business. This remote position is available for hire in the USA or EMEA for internal candidates; relocation assistance is not provided. The manager leads global market development strategy for bioprocessing segments including biologics, plasma-derived therapies, advanced therapies, vaccines, and emerging markets. The role develops workflow-based strategies to position filtration and separation products across critical stages of bioprocessing. The manager translates technical data, customer needs, market trends, competitive insights, and performance results into differentiated positioning, compelling value propositions, and global go-to-market strategies that support portfolio adoption and above-market growth. Success is measured by the quality and impact of go-to-market strategy rather than marketing activity volume. The position calls for deep knowledge of portfolios, applications, customers, and competitive dynamics, plus the ability to align stakeholders and drive execution in a highly matrixed organization. The role works with Marketing Centers of Excellence, Regional Market Development, and Commercial teams to plan and activate strategies across content, digital, marketing automation, events, and channels. It also applies AI and performance insights to planning, content development, optimization, and decision-making while maintaining scientific accuracy and quality standards, and manages marketing investments within established budget, planning, and governance requirements. Standard office schedule is 40 hours per week, with 10–15% travel.
