About The Position

Support a strategic transformation program migrating planning and reporting processes from SAP BPC to SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC). The program is under pressure due to open defects, resource constraints, and aggressive timelines. The consultant will support stabilization, defect remediation, business readiness, and the transition into production, acting as a liaison among CSL business stakeholders, the implementation partner, and Capgemini teams. The role combines functional business analysis with hands-on SAC expertise. The consultant will analyze existing BPC planning and reporting processes and align them with SAC capabilities; gather and validate requirements; facilitate solution reviews and business workshops; and support impact assessments, change management, and user acceptance testing. They will also analyze and resolve SAC planning and reporting defects, validate integrations and workflows, review and optimize models and planning processes, and coordinate with the implementation partner and technical teams on remediation. The role includes leading defect prioritization and coordination, supporting cutover and Go-Live readiness, and providing Hypercare during stabilization to minimize business disruption during the BPC-to-SAC transition.

Requirements

At least 8 years of experience as a Senior Business Analyst within SAP Planning and Analytics environments.
At least 4 years of hands-on experience with SAP Analytics Cloud.
Strong understanding of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), budgeting and forecasting, management reporting, driver-based planning, and consolidation processes.
Strong expertise in SAC Planning Models, Stories & Dashboards, Data Actions, Multi Actions, Calendar Processes, Allocations, and Business Rules.
Strong understanding of SAP BPC planning processes.
Ability to analyze legacy BPC processes and align them with SAC architecture.
Understanding of SAP S/4HANA integration with SAC.
Knowledge of SAP BW/BW4HANA integration.
Familiarity with data integration concepts and planning architecture.
Ability to review technical defects and coordinate resolution with development teams.
Excellent communication and executive stakeholder management skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience supporting BPC-to-SAC migration or transformation programs.
Experience with predictive planning.
Experience in Life Sciences, Pharmaceuticals, or Healthcare industries.
Previous experience supporting critical ERP or planning system Go-Live activities.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary interface between CSL business users, project leadership, and technical teams.
Facilitate requirement clarification, solution reviews, defect triage sessions, and business workshops.
Analyze existing BPC planning and reporting processes and align them with SAC capabilities.
Gather, document, and validate business requirements.
Conduct impact assessments and support change management activities.
Assist with UAT planning, execution, and sign-off activities.
Provide functional and technical expertise on SAP Analytics Cloud Planning solutions.
Analyze and resolve defects related to planning models, reporting, calculations, allocations, and business rules.
Support configuration, validation, testing, and production readiness activities.
Work with the implementation partner to identify root causes and remediation strategies.
Validate data integration and planning workflows between SAC and source SAP systems.
Review and optimize SAC models, stories, planning processes, and calculations.
Lead defect management and prioritization discussions.
Coordinate resolution activities across business and technical teams.
Support cutover planning and Go-Live readiness assessments.
Provide Hypercare support during the stabilization period.
Ensure minimal business disruption during the transition from BPC to SAC.
