SAP Functional Consultant
About The Position
FlowGen Labs is hiring SAP Functional Consultants to help deploy AI agents inside complex enterprise SAP environments. The role works directly with customers to understand business processes, map SAP workflows, define operating procedures, and translate enterprise operations into systems that AI agents can execute safely and reliably. It is intended for someone with deep SAP functional expertise interested in enterprise AI, automation, and ERP transformation. The consultant partners with customers and internal engineering and AI teams to analyze finance and operations processes, identify automation opportunities, define and validate agent workflows, and support discovery and deployment. The position is in person, with the San Francisco Bay Area preferred, and requires customer travel. Visa support or sponsorship is available.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of SAP functional consulting or SAP business process experience.
- Strong understanding of SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA environments.
- Experience with finance, supply chain, order management, procurement, logistics, or shared services processes.
- Comfort working with business users, IT teams, SAP teams, and system integrators.
- Ability to break down complex enterprise workflows into clear process steps, rules, and exceptions.
- Strong communication skills to bridge business, SAP, and technical teams.
- Curiosity about AI and interest in applying it to enterprise operations.
- Comfort working in a fast-moving environment, taking ownership, and figuring things out.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with FI/CO, SD, MM, PP, EWM, TM, or related SAP modules.
- Experience with S/4HANA migrations, process optimization, shared services, or finance transformation.
- Familiarity with SAP tables, IDocs, BAPIs, APIs, Fiori, or integration concepts.
- Prior experience in CPG, distribution, high tech, manufacturing, oil and gas, or other SAP-heavy industries.
- Experience working with automation, process mining, RPA, or AI products.
Responsibilities
- Partner with customers to understand SAP-driven finance and operations workflows.
- Analyze business processes including order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, record-to-report, disputes, cash application, logistics, and close.
- Translate customer processes, exceptions, approvals, and controls into clear requirements for FlowGen agents.
- Work with engineering and AI teams to define workflows, validations, escalation paths, and success criteria.
- Support customer workshops, discovery sessions, process mapping, and deployment planning.
- Identify automation opportunities inside highly customized SAP environments.
- Validate agent outputs against business rules, SAP data, and customer operating procedures.
- Serve as a trusted functional expert for customers and internal teams.
