Senior Full Stack Software Engineer, Frontend Leaning
About The Position
Anomalo is hiring a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to build and maintain its web platform, with a strong focus on frontend development and additional contributions to the backend. The role owns customer-facing features end to end, from concept through launch, and helps shape technical decisions. The engineer will work closely with Product, Design, and end-users to create intuitive experiences and deliver high-impact product improvements. Anomalo is a fully remote company, and this position is open to qualified candidates based in the United States. Occasional travel of approximately 10% is required for company offsites and Engineering Hackathons.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, including significant experience building modern, customer-facing web applications.
- Deep expertise in React, TypeScript, and modern frontend development.
- Extensive experience using Python.
- Strong knowledge of SQL.
- Experience working closely with end-users and translating their needs into features.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.
- Ability to take ownership of complex projects and work independently.
- Demonstrated experience integrating AI-powered development tools into daily engineering workflows to accelerate development, improve code quality, and solve complex technical challenges.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end development of new product features using React and TypeScript on the frontend and Python on the backend.
- Translate designs, sketches, and product ideas into functional, reusable, intuitive UI components.
- Partner closely with Product and Design to create seamless, user-friendly customer experiences.
- Interact directly with end-users to understand their needs and build appropriate solutions.
- Use AI-powered development tools to accelerate coding, debugging, testing, and problem-solving while maintaining oversight and high standards for code quality and performance.
