About The Position

Archy is hiring a Senior Frontend Software Engineer to build and maintain its React/TypeScript frontend for a SaaS dental practice management platform. The role owns user experience and frontend performance, and helps ensure the frontend architecture is modular, tested, and able to support rapid feature releases. The engineer will contribute to and own critical product domains, including AI-powered interfaces, and will collaborate with backend engineers and the wider team to deliver reliable, scalable software for dental practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• At least 6 years of experience as a frontend engineer, with a strong emphasis on writing clean, quality code.
• Experience with React and TypeScript.
• Extensive experience managing releases and monitoring frontend health in a live production environment.
• Ability to explain when and how to use AI to improve development velocity without compromising long-term React codebase maintainability.
• Strong focus on testing, stability, and performance.
• Customer-centric mindset and understanding that dental practices rely on the platform to keep their businesses running smoothly.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, openness to feedback, and respect for diverse voices and talents on the team.

Responsibilities

• Lead the release of major frontend features and product updates, managing the production lifecycle of assigned domains and ensuring a seamless, bug-free experience.
• Use AI tools such as Claude in daily development to improve efficiency, handling repetitive tasks while focusing on complex state management, performance optimization, and user experience.
• Develop and refine AI-powered customer interfaces, ensuring updates are intuitive and high-performing.
• Collaborate with the Backend team to integrate the Java Spring Boot backend with the React/TypeScript frontend.
• Participate in code reviews and provide and receive constructive feedback.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve team efficiency.
• Estimate and plan development efforts to support timely, high-quality project delivery.
