This role involves performing duties in accordance with safety policies and procedures, setting up and adjusting machines, troubleshooting and repairing machinery mechanically and electronically, performing checks and setup of capping components, conducting machine audits, repairs, and preventative maintenance on Cappers, and installing, commissioning, and setting up Cappers in customer facilities. The role also includes diagnosing problems, dismantling machines, replacing defective parts, reassembling machines, identifying root cause problem statements, completing service reports, and providing training to customers and coworkers. Cross-training is an expectation, and when not traveling, work may be performed onsite at any Bevcorp facility as per management discretion. This includes engaging in equipment testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance to support internal operations and completing safety initiatives. This is a remote position.

Requirements

  • Basic computer, including iPad and smart phone, skills such as use of email, Word, Excel, etc.
  • Experience serving customers and working as a team to achieve success.
  • Valid U.S. Driver's License.
  • High level of dedication to safety and quality.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts.
  • Passion to deliver results on our customers' needs.
  • Ability to adhere to all JBT values.
  • Ability to travel outside of the US.
  • Ability to lift, carry, move, etc. up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

  • 4-6 years Capping service experience a plus.
  • Minimum two-year technical school training in related field preferred.
  • Manufacturing experience in food and beverage industry preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all duties in accordance with safety policies and procedures while maintaining a safety-focused work mentality.
  • Set up and adjust machines, in the field and in our ECS facility, to equipment specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and repair machinery mechanically (hydraulic/pneumatic) and electronically.
  • Perform checks and setup of capping components for proper operation.
  • Perform machine audits, repairs, and preventative scheduled maintenance on Cappers.
  • Install, commission, and set up Cappers in customer facilities.
  • Diagnose problems, dismantle machines, replace defective parts and reassemble machines.
  • Identify and articulate root cause problem statements while troubleshooting.
  • Changeover and setup change parts running clearance and timing.
  • Complete service reports timely.
  • Provide training to customers and coworkers alike.
  • Follow good assembly practices while performing job duties.
  • Travel, sometimes nights and weekends, up to 80%, depending on location of team member residence.
  • Cross-training is an expectation and when applicable, provide training to customers and coworkers alike.
  • When not traveling on a job, working and contributing to duties onsite at any Bevcorp facility is up to the managers discretion.
  • Engage in equipment testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance to support our internal operations, led by the internal department leader.
  • Complete safety initiatives as required within JBT expectations (BBSO's, Near Misses, etc.).
