Senior Field Marketing Manager, Northwest

Horizon3
•$145,000 - $185,000

About The Position

Horizon3 is seeking a Senior Field Marketing Manager to own field marketing strategy and execution for its Northwest region. This ownership role builds regional program architecture that connects events with digital marketing, account-based marketing (ABM), and sales development representative (SDR) alignment to create a repeatable pipeline engine. The manager serves as the marketing counterpart to regional sales leadership and mentors other field marketers, despite having no direct reports. The role covers regional planning and budgeting, integrated program design and execution, pipeline accountability, reporting, and cross-functional leadership. Programs include CISO dinners, executive roundtables, third-party conferences, hosted roadshows, and account-specific activations. Each program is expected to have a pipeline hypothesis, a cost-per-opportunity (CPO) threshold for spending, and a 30-day post-event review. The ideal candidate is based in the Northwest United States and must be willing to travel up to 40%.

Requirements

  • 5 to 8 years of B2B field marketing experience, including ownership of a region or segment.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and run a field program portfolio with measurable pipeline outcomes, CPO discipline, and executive-level reporting.
  • Deep experience partnering with sales leadership and SDR management on pre- and post-program alignment, sequencing, and follow-up accountability.
  • Strong financial fluency, including building CPO models, presenting ROI cases to leadership, and recommending investment trade-offs.
  • Experience running ABM-aligned field programs tied to named account lists, including executive dinners and CISO roundtables.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce for pipeline tracking, campaign attribution, and performance reporting.
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms such as Pardot, HubSpot, or equivalent for integrated campaign coordination.
  • Excellent written communication skills, including executive-facing event briefs, invite copy, and post-event performance summaries.
  • Track record of building repeatable field program frameworks rather than one-off events.
  • Must be based in the Northwest United States and willing to travel up to 40%.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in cybersecurity field marketing and understanding of CISO and security practitioner buyers, enterprise security sales cycles, and the competitive landscape.
  • Existing relationships with the security community, venues, and partners in the region.
  • Background in financial services, healthcare, or SLED, where compliance shapes how buyers evaluate security.

Responsibilities

  • Own the annual and quarterly field marketing plan for the region, aligned with regional pipeline targets, segment priorities, and sales capacity.
  • Build integrated programs connecting field events with digital marketing, SDR sequences, and ABM account targeting.
  • Set and enforce CPO thresholds for program investment, and build marginal ROI models to justify or redirect regional spending.
  • Own the regional field budget and determine which programs to scale or cut.
  • Plan and execute CISO dinners, executive roundtables, third-party conferences, hosted roadshows, and account-specific activations.
  • Lead SDR alignment for each program, including pre-event sequencing, on-site meeting coordination, and post-event follow-up SLAs.
  • Coordinate with digital marketing, campaigns, and ABM teams to engage target accounts before, during, and after programs.
  • Own executive-tier programming, including speaker coordination, venue selection, and curated invitations for C-level and VP-level targets.
  • Partner with channel field marketing on regional partner-led programs.
  • Report regional pipeline contribution, including meetings booked, pipeline created and influenced, and stage progression, tied to program spend.
  • Run a 30-day post-event review for every program and apply findings to future program design.
  • Partner with marketing operations to maintain clean Salesforce campaign tracking and attribution for field activity.
  • Present regional performance to marketing and sales leadership, including spend versus pipeline, CPO versus threshold, and ROI trends.
  • Serve as the primary marketing partner to regional sales leaders, account executives, and SDR managers.
  • Mentor Field Marketing Managers and Specialists and share repeatable playbooks across regions.
  • Collaborate with brand and product marketing to anchor programs in Horizon3 messaging.
  • Lead cross-functionally with digital, campaigns, ABM, and marketing operations to build integrated programs.
