About The Position

The Senior Federal Contracts Compliance Lead is a senior, hands-on individual contributor responsible for compliance activities across assigned Aleut Federal entities, federal prime contracts, task orders, and contract vehicles. Working within the framework established by the Federal Contracts Compliance Manager, the Lead independently manages recurring and moderately complex SBA 8(a), entity, limitations-on-subcontracting, performance-of-work, bona fide place-of-business, Business Activity Target, federal reporting, SAM.gov, and GSA or other vehicle requirements. The position also manages an assigned portfolio of federal prime contracts, performs cradle-to-grave administration, and promptly escalates novel, material, cross-entity, or high-risk matters. The role implements and maintains compliance controls, obligation registers, calendars, procedures, and audit-ready evidence; reviews submissions and compliance records; coordinates audits and government or SBA inquiries; and reports on obligations, exceptions, corrective actions, and emerging risks. It maintains entity and SBA 8(a) records, supports eligibility and business-plan requirements, monitors Business Activity Targets and subcontracting limitations, administers federal reporting systems and contract vehicles, and manages contract administration from solicitation and proposal support through closeout. It also advises program and growth personnel and may provide backup or surge support for federal subcontract administration. A bachelor's degree in a related field is required, though significant directly relevant federal contracts and compliance experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. The role requires five to eight years of progressively responsible U.S. federal prime contract experience, including at least three years of hands-on cradle-to-grave contract administration and at least two years of direct federal contracts compliance experience. The position is hybrid, with onsite attendance at the Reston, Virginia office Tuesday through Thursday and remote work on Monday and Friday, subject to business needs. Occasional travel may be required.
