Senior Epic Applications Analyst - Women's Health
About The Position
Leads analysis, configuration, implementation, and optimization of complex Epic EHR applications. Independently resolves advanced and often cross-functional issues, drives significant enhancements and process improvements within assigned application areas, and provides technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members. Collaborates with diverse stakeholders to deliver advanced technical solutions aligned with business objectives. The role focuses on Epic applications in Women's Health and requires EpicCare Ambulatory certification and working knowledge of OB/GYN. The analyst serves as a technical resource and subject matter expert for assigned Epic modules, contributes to strategic planning, and coordinates complex issues with Epic technical support and external partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience.
- Epic certification.
- EpicCare Ambulatory certification.
- Working knowledge of OB/GYN.
Responsibilities
- Lead analysis of current-state workflows, system functionality, and data; design, build, and optimize complex Epic IT solutions.
- Independently evaluate and resolve complex, cross-functional application problems and technical issues as a primary technical resource and subject matter expert for assigned Epic modules.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define business requirements and translate them into Epic system designs; develop internal procedures and best practices for quality and standards adherence.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior analysts, supporting their development and adherence to standards and best practices.
- Analyze new Epic functionality and identify opportunities for strategic enhancements, process improvements, and system optimizations affecting multiple projects and functions; provide expert insights for strategic planning.
- Coordinate with Epic technical support and external partners to manage complex issues through resolution.
