About The Position

Leads the comprehensive analysis, configuration, implementation, and optimization of complex Epic EHR applications. Independently resolves advanced, often cross-functional issues and drives significant enhancements and process improvements within specific application areas. Provides technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members and collaborates with diverse stakeholders to deliver advanced technical solutions aligned with business objectives.

The analyst leads current-state workflow, system functionality, and data analysis; designs, builds, and optimizes complex Epic IT solutions; and serves as a primary technical resource and subject matter expert for assigned Epic modules. The role also translates business requirements into Epic system designs, develops internal procedures and best practices, evaluates new Epic functionality, identifies strategic improvements, and coordinates complex issues with Epic technical support and external partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Epic certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis of current-state workflows, system functionality, and data; design, build, and optimize complex Epic IT solutions.
• Independently evaluate and resolve complex, cross-functional application problems and technical issues; serve as a primary technical resource and subject matter expert for assigned Epic modules.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define business requirements and translate them into effective Epic system designs.
• Develop internal procedures and best practices to ensure quality and adherence to standards.
• Mentor junior analysts and provide technical guidance, supporting their development and adherence to standards and best practices.
• Analyze new Epic functionality and identify strategic enhancements, process improvements, and system optimizations that affect multiple projects and functions.
• Provide expert insights for strategic planning discussions.
• Coordinate with Epic technical support and external partners to manage complex issues through resolution.
