About The Position

Leads the comprehensive analysis, configuration, implementation, and optimization of complex Epic EHR applications, specifically EpicCare Ambulatory. Independently resolves advanced, often cross-functional issues and drives significant enhancements and process improvements within assigned application areas. Provides technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members and collaborates with diverse stakeholders to deliver advanced technical solutions aligned with business objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Epic certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis of current-state workflows, system functionality, and data; design, build, and optimize highly complex Epic IT solutions.
• Independently evaluate and resolve highly complex, cross-functional application problems and technical issues, serving as a primary technical resource and subject matter expert for assigned Epic modules.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define business requirements and translate them into Epic system designs; develop internal procedures and best practices to ensure quality and adherence to standards.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior analysts, supporting their development and adherence to standards and best practices.
• Analyze new Epic functionality and identify opportunities for strategic enhancements, process improvements, and system optimizations affecting multiple projects and functions; provide expert insights for strategic planning.
• Coordinate with Epic technical support and external partners, managing complex issues through resolution.
