About The Position

onsemi is hiring a Senior Director to lead PMIC (Power Management IC) and POL (Point-of-Load) product development. The role sets technical direction and oversees day-to-day execution for a global team of analog, mixed-signal, digital and layout engineers across four sites. The Senior Director owns products from definition with Marketing and Systems through architecture, design, verification, tape-out, silicon validation, qualification and release to production, with accountability for schedule, quality, cost and first-pass silicon success. The position combines power-management technical expertise, organizational leadership and customer engagement. The Senior Director establishes and carries out the technical roadmap for PMIC and POL products, including multi-rail PMICs, buck, boost, buck-boost and LDO products, as well as digitally controlled/PMBus POL converters for data center/AI compute and consumer markets. The role translates customer and market needs into product specifications, evaluates competition and technology opportunities, and works with Process Technology to use onsemi BCD and other process platforms effectively. The position leads the complete product-development cycle and ensures projects meet targets for schedule, cost, performance and quality. It establishes design methodology, reviews, mixed-signal/AMS verification rigor and documentation standards, and partners with product engineering, test, applications, packaging, quality and operations to support manufacturability and production ramp. The role leads and develops a global, multi-site organization of managers and engineers in Hudson, Rhode Island, San Jose and Bangalore. It builds an inclusive, accountable organization, recruits and mentors technical talent, plans resources and budgets across concurrent programs, and encourages innovation and patent and IP creation. The Senior Director also serves as a senior technical leader with key customers and works closely with cross-functional leadership.
