About the position
As the Director of Marketing at Dandelion, you will have the opportunity to lead a team and develop impactful marketing strategies for a clean technology startup. Your main responsibility will be to ensure a consistent and compelling message across various channels, enabling the sales team to effectively sell the product. You will play a critical role in driving awareness and demand for the product, contributing to the achievement of Dandelion's ambitious mission and growth goals.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver an integrated marketing strategy using various channels to increase awareness, generate leads, and improve conversion rates at each stage of the customer journey
- Develop product marketing across website and marketing channels to effectively communicate value proposition and benefits, and conduct testing to enhance effectiveness
- Enhance website content, navigation, and interactive tools to increase visitor engagement and lead conversion, and improve digital analytics for better data capture and reporting
- Develop communication streams for prospects and customers through email, SMS, and phone calls, with clear objectives and measurable results in nurturing prospects and engaging customers
- Collaborate in developing and executing go-to-market strategies for new geographies and customer segments
- Create innovative strategies for driving brand awareness and lead generation by leveraging the company's ecosystem of green energy providers, home services, and community organizations
- Lead a team and ensure consistent and compelling messaging across channels, providing sales team with necessary assets for effective product selling
- Drive awareness and demand for the product to achieve the company's mission and growth goals
- Have experience in leadership roles focused on lead generation, performance marketing, GTM strategy and execution, site content optimization, and campaign management
- Demonstrate results in driving sales growth through performance marketing channels, acquiring new customers, and improving site conversion rates
- Measure and optimize product marketing and website content to enhance visitor engagement and conversion, ensuring consistency across channels.
Requirements
- 6+ years experience in leadership roles responsible for lead-gen performance marketing, GTM strategy and execution, site content optimization, and campaign management
- Demonstrated results driving top-line sales growth through a variety of performance marketing channels, delivering new customer acquisition and increased site conversion
- Experience measuring and optimizing product marketing and website content to increase visitor engagement and conversion; channel-appropriate and consistent
