About The Position

The Senior Director, Data & AI Products & Solutions will set the strategy and lead delivery of scalable data, analytics, and Artificial Intelligence solutions that turn complex business needs into measurable outcomes. The role brings together product thinking, technology leadership, and cross-functional teams to move ideas from concept through enterprise adoption, build high-performing teams, and accelerate Novartis’ digital transformation.

This position shapes enterprise data, analytics, and Artificial Intelligence strategies aligned with business priorities and leads products from concept and rapid prototyping through launch, adoption, and measurable outcomes. It owns delivery across a strategic portfolio, develops product and service roadmaps, scales emerging technologies into sustainable enterprise offerings, and guides platform, service, investment, and architecture decisions. The role also promotes agile, product-centric delivery while embedding privacy, security, governance, and responsible practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative discipline.
• 15+ years of progressive experience across data products, analytics, and Artificial Intelligence, including 5+ years in senior leadership roles.
• Proven success leading enterprise-scale Data and Artificial Intelligence products from strategy and roadmap through delivery and adoption.
• Strong product management expertise, including prioritization, lifecycle management, stakeholder alignment, and outcome-focused execution.
• Deep understanding of data architecture, data governance, security, advanced analytics, machine learning, and Artificial Intelligence frameworks.
• Experience with cloud and data platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Snowflake, or Databricks.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence senior business and technology stakeholders in complex global environments.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills, translating complex technical concepts into clear strategies and decisions for executive audiences.
