Sales Director, Data & AI Solutions

Blueprint Technologies•Bellevue, WA
•$145,000 - $160,000•Hybrid

About The Position

Blueprint is hiring a Sales Director to own the growth and commercial performance of its Data & AI Solutions business. The role combines creating net-new enterprise opportunities with deepening existing customer relationships, expanding successful engagements, developing partner-sourced business, and building durable accounts. Blueprint’s services span data platform modernization, migration, governance, analytics, generative AI, cloud optimization, and operationalizing intelligence at scale. The focus is on understanding customer business problems, defining measurable outcomes, and creating a path from strategy through execution—not selling a technology platform in isolation. The Sales Director will set and execute the business’s sales strategy, establish growth priorities and target accounts, generate demand through self-directed outreach, and maintain a balanced, accurate pipeline and forecast. The role involves executive-level relationship development, outcome-focused discovery, opportunity shaping, pursuit leadership, proposals and pricing, collaboration with strategic technology partners, and close coordination with Blueprint’s subject matter experts, solution architects, delivery teams, marketing, and leadership. The Director remains engaged through contracting, delivery transition, and post-launch customer success to protect relationships and identify further opportunities. This is a hybrid role based in Bellevue, Washington, with an expectation of working from the office at least two days per week. Additional in-office attendance may be required based on business needs. The base salary range is $145,000 to $160,000 USD annually, with performance-based incentive compensation tied to closed business. Actual starting compensation depends on skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity.

Requirements

  • Seven to ten years of enterprise technology, consulting, or professional services sales experience, with a strong record of selling data, analytics, AI, or cloud transformation work.
  • Demonstrated success developing net-new enterprise business and expanding strategic accounts through complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
  • Working knowledge of modern data platforms and architectures, including data engineering, cloud migration, governance, analytics, AI or machine learning, and their business value.
  • Experience selling advisory and implementation services, managed or recurring offerings, and outcome-based solutions to senior technology and business leaders.
  • Strong discovery, qualification, value articulation, account planning, negotiation, and forecast management skills.
  • Ability to communicate credibly with technical and nontechnical buyers without overstating expertise or oversimplifying problems.
  • Experience leading cross-functional pursuits involving solution architects, delivery leaders, marketing, partners, finance, legal, and executives.
  • Strong executive presence, writing, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • High accountability, intellectual curiosity, resilience, and a bias toward action and follow-through.

Nice To Haves

  • Existing relationships in one or more priority industries: manufacturing, retail, financial services, health and life sciences, communications/media/entertainment/gaming, or federal government.
  • Experience with co-sell motions, partner-sourced opportunities, and joint go-to-market planning.
  • Familiarity with solution accelerators, IP-enabled services, cost-optimization offerings, or productized consulting solutions.
  • Proficiency with enterprise CRM platforms and data-driven pipeline management.

  • Develop pursuit strategies and mobilize Blueprint subject matter experts, solution architects, delivery leaders, and executives as appropriate.
  • Create account-specific value propositions, proposals, presentations, pricing strategies, and statements of work tied to measurable business impact.
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline across early-stage opportunities, qualified pursuits, renewals, and expansion work; maintain accurate and candid CRM data and forecasts.
  • Cultivate relationships with current and former customers, connect delivery success to future business needs, and identify expansion opportunities before engagements end.
  • Partner with Databricks and other strategic technology providers on co-selling, joint account planning, events, referrals, and go-to-market motions.
  • Work with marketing to turn industry insight, customer proof, thought leadership, events, and campaigns into targeted demand-generation and account-based motions.
  • Stay engaged through contracting and delivery transition to protect scope clarity and ensure customer commitments are executable.
  • Partner with delivery and customer leaders after launch to demonstrate value, protect relationships, and identify logical next opportunities.
  • Bring customer priorities, competitive patterns, partner signals, objections, and unmet needs back to Blueprint to inform offerings, investments, and messaging.
