About The Position

Join Deloitte’s AI & Engineering team to transform technology platforms, drive innovation, and help clients improve financial performance, accelerate digital ventures, and grow through innovation. The team builds, deploys, and operates integrated solutions across software, data, AI, networks, and hybrid cloud infrastructure, and helps clients modernize engineering teams and technology and data platforms.

As an Associate Vice President, AI and Data Solutions, you will lead data and AI engagements from planning and mobilization through delivery. You will manage client relationships and engagement quality, economics, timelines, and risk; contribute to business development and sales pursuits; and coach and develop practitioners. The AI & Data practice designs, develops, and operates data and AI platforms, products, insights, and services to help clients build and scale their capabilities.

Requirements

• 10 or more years of technology consulting experience delivering large-scale data modernization, cloud analytics, and/or data migration programs for commercial clients.
• 5 or more years of experience managing enterprise application portfolios, including migration of on-premises workloads to the cloud.
• 5 or more years of experience delivering solutions on at least one major cloud platform: Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• 5 or more years of experience leading, managing, and delivering complex technology engagements with resources in multiple locations.
• 2 or more years of experience shaping executive-level client conversations and contributing to the sales cycle for data and analytics services, including opportunity development, solutioning, pursuits, and proposal content.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, data science, or a related field.
• Ability to travel up to 50% on average, depending on client and project needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead engagement planning, budgeting, staffing, and team mobilization for data and AI initiatives.
• Define deliverable structure and content, and manage quality, timelines, economics, and engagement risk.
• Manage day-to-day interactions with executive clients and sponsors and facilitate buy-in for proposed solutions.
• Lead business development activities, including client relationship development, pursuit leadership, proposal development, and pricing strategy input.
• Coach and develop practitioners through counseling, staffing input, recruitment, retention, and delivery team leadership.
