About the position
This is an exciting opportunity for a full-time Sr. Design Strategist to join Throughline, a premier visual information design firm. The ideal candidate should have a background in human-centered design and experience in technology projects or visual communications. They will be responsible for supporting research and design for strategic planning initiatives, gathering requirements for visual artifacts, facilitating working groups with clients, conducting qualitative and/or quantitative research, developing strategies for organizational improvement, and creating visual and written communications to support change management initiatives. This role offers the chance to work with a dynamic creative team and contribute to the success of a fast-growing company.

- Gather high level requirements for visual artifacts, experience design, and concept development
- Facilitate working groups/sessions with clients to collect requirements and information
- Conduct qualitative and/or quantitative research for customer discovery and insights generation
- Develop strategies for organizational improvement and customer experience service delivery improvements
- Apply co-creation methods and techniques with customers and end users
- Strong knowledge in principles of visual design, information layout, and presentation
- Create visual and written communications to support change management initiatives
- Create visual mockups and prototypes for testing and validation
- Work with the design studio to conceptualize and execute visual design artifacts
- Support and develop executive presentations and major project milestones
- Willingness to travel depending on project requirements
- Experience supporting Government and/or Fortune 500 clients
- Familiarity with service design methods and techniques
- Experience in ethnographic and depth research practices
- Experience in employee change management efforts at an enterprise organization
- Experience in designing and implementing new offerings, services, or capabilities for a client or organization
- Experience in designing and implementing brand strategy and visual identity
- Experience in digital transformation efforts at an enterprise organization
- Experience working on digital products and services with product/engineering teams
- Project management skills
