About the position
This is an exciting opportunity for a full-time Cleared Design Strategist to join Throughline, a premier visual information design firm. The ideal candidate should have a background in human-centered design and experience in technology projects or visual communications. They will be responsible for supporting research and design for strategic planning initiatives, gathering requirements for visual artifacts, facilitating working groups with clients, conducting qualitative and/or quantitative research, and developing strategies for organizational improvement. The candidate should have strong knowledge in principles of visual design and be able to create visual and written communications to support change management initiatives.

- Experience in designing and implementing new offerings, services, or capabilities
- Experience in brand strategy and visual identity
- Experience in digital transformation efforts at an enterprise organization
- Experience in working on digital products and services with product/engineering teams
- Project management skills
- Willingness to travel depending on project requirements

- Active DoD Secret Clearance required
- Minimum of 2+ years experience in software, creative agency, or analogous field
- Minimum of an Associate's Degree, Professional Certification, or Bachelor's Degree, with a focus in Design, IT/Technology, or Business
- Master's degree in Design or Business-related fields is a plus
- Excellent client-facing skills
- Ability to collaborate productively in large interdisciplinary teams
- Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, organize, and communicate effectively
- Comfortable facilitating groups of/working closely with executive level clients and Subject Matter Experts
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, comfort with Adobe Illustrator is a plus
