About the position
The Sr. Diversity, Equity + Inclusion Partner will be responsible for overseeing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives at Movement Strategy. They will collaborate with senior leaders to create a vision for DEI strategy that aligns with business goals. The role involves designing and executing innovative programs to promote a diverse and inclusive workforce, as well as facilitating learning programs and presentations to build awareness and competencies in DEI. The Sr. Diversity, Equity + Inclusion Partner will also manage Employee Resource Groups, establish benchmarks for effectiveness, and maintain relationships with external organizations. Additionally, they will serve as a subject matter expert, advising and guiding executive management and staff on DEI best practices.
Responsibilities
- Create a vision of how DEI strategy connects directly to business goals and collaborate with senior leaders
- Design and execute innovative and scalable programs for a more diversified, equitable, and inclusive workforce
- Collaborate with People & Culture Team to design and deliver comprehensive DEI solutions
- Design, develop, and facilitate learning programs and presentations to build awareness and leader competencies in DEI
- Lead implementation and management of Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) program
- Establish benchmarks and metrics to ensure effectiveness of DEI programming
- Maintain relationships with external organizations and partners aligned with strategic goals
- Lead and manage Diversity Equity and Inclusion Committee and Positive Impact Team
- Oversee programs supporting underrepresented communities and Movement Strategy Scholarship program
- Advise, coach, and guide executive management and staff on DEI best practices and cultural competence
- Create and moderate safe spaces for dialogue around diversity and inclusion
- Stay aware of global diversity issues and trends
- Partner cross-functionally to elevate company's brand and global impact
- Lead creation and publication of Movements's DEI Annual Report
- Implement Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion strategies
- Drive and implement innovative diversity and inclusion initiatives
- Collaborate with internal and external learning teams for DEI education
- Analyze metrics, research, and trends to develop insights and strategy
- Devise and implement tailored DEI strategies for specific departments
- Drive execution of multi-stakeholder initiatives

Requirements
- 5-7 years of experience preferred, implementing Diversity, Equity and Inclusion strategies
- Proven track record of driving and implementing innovative diversity and inclusion initiatives with positive results
- Experience working in a fast-paced, highly cross-functional organization in the Advertising, Marketing or Tech space
- Experience collaborating with internal and external learning teams to assess and design compelling DEl education for all levels of the organization
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to translate metrics, research, and trends into insights and strategy
- Demonstrated experience to work with business leaders to devise and implement tailored DEI strategies for specific departments
- Demonstrated ability to drive the execution of multi-stakeholder initiatives, providing direction when needed and removing obstacles as needed to get work done
- Thorough understanding of federal, state, and local equal employment opportunity laws and regulations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Understanding of HR practices and talent management processes
- Experience creating agency-wide communication plans
