About The Position

Eurest is hiring a full-time Senior Cook at Dow MiOps East in Midland, Michigan. The cook prepares nutritious, properly flavored food in accordance with applicable federal, state, local, and company standards, guidelines, and regulations. The position may oversee food service associates’ cooking activities when assigned by the Food Service Director and may assist with employee cross-training. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 5:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The pay range is $20.00 to $21.00 per hour. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis until the position is filled.

Requirements

• Cooking experience, including breakfast prepared to order and lunch preparation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare entrees and menu items according to established recipes.
• Operate and clean equipment after each use and perform scheduled routine cleaning.
• Store, label, and date food items according to policy.
• Help maintain organized storage of dry goods and refrigerated and frozen products.
• Follow HACCP guidelines and applicable health, sanitation, and department procedures to ensure food quality and safety.
• Assist the Food Service Director with accurate daily production records and complete assigned documentation, reports, and logs.
• May oversee the cooking activities of food service associates as assigned by the Food Service Director.
• Assist in cross-training employees.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
