About The Position

Fulfillment IQ is hiring a Senior Consultant, Manhattan Active WM to own hands-on configuration, testing, and continuous improvement of a global Manhattan Active WM template used in a large, multi-customer program rolling out across dozens of warehouse sites each year. The consultant will work from approved functional designs to translate requirements into standardized, reusable configurations while keeping customer-specific complexity out of the template. The role reports to the SVP, Enterprise Systems and is open to candidates residing in Mexico or Brazil. It is remote and requires work hours aligned to US Central or Eastern time, with travel within Latin America and to the United States for go-lives when required. The consultant will configure Manhattan Active WM independently, build reusable configuration components, maintain template quality, and raise conflicts, performance risks, or deviations to the Functional Architect. The role supports regional implementation teams through system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), go-live, and stabilization, while managing changes through controlled release processes. The position is offered as a 12-month renewable contract with full-time hours. Candidates may engage as independent contractors or as employees through the company's employer-of-record partner. Compensation is competitive and based on experience, and is discussed during the first screening call. Professional growth, flexible work, and additional perks apply to both contractors and employees; statutory benefits apply to employees through the employer of record.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience configuring and implementing WMS.
  • At least 2 years of recent, hands-on Manhattan Active WM configuration experience.
  • Practical experience with Manhattan Active Configuration Director.

  • Knowledge of functional and integration orchestration across WMS, WES, ASRS, AMR, GTP, WCS, parcel management systems, and related systems.
  • Experience configuring reusable functionality within a functional template and working from written functional specifications.
  • Professional working proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Native or fluent Spanish for candidates in Mexico, or Portuguese for candidates in Brazil. Applicants based in Brazil may also use Spanish, which is a plus.
  • Residence in Mexico or Brazil and legal authorization to work in the applicable country.
  • For independent contractors in Mexico: registration with SAT (RFC) and ability to issue CFDI electronic invoices.
  • For independent contractors in Brazil: operation through a registered company (CNPJ) and ability to issue service invoices (nota fiscal).

  • Maintain accurate configuration documentation, dependencies, and change history.
  • Recommend template simplifications and enhancements based on recurring implementation needs.
  • Provide feasibility and impact input on functional change requests and evaluate new Manhattan Active capabilities that could reduce the need for extensions.
  • Perform unit and functional testing of new configuration and support automated regression testing.
  • Support configuration packaging, versioning, and deployment across environments.
  • Troubleshoot configuration issues during SIT, UAT, go-live, and stabilization.
  • Transfer knowledge to client super users, regional configurators, and support teams.
