Senior Business Systems Analyst

Poshmark is seeking a Sr. Business Systems Analyst to join their team. This role involves designing, building, and maintaining internal applications and data platforms that support the finance and accounting function. The analyst will collaborate with business stakeholders, vendors, and IT teams to gather requirements, model business processes, and design holistic solutions. They will also be responsible for documentation, testing, project management, system configurations, support and sustaining operations, and training and change management. The ideal candidate will have experience in ERP systems, SQL queries, and visualization tools, as well as strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Analyze, define, and document business requirements across functional areas
• Evaluate new business requests, assess value, and prioritize
• Model business processes and drive innovative process improvements
• Manage stakeholder expectations and communications within and beyond functional track
• Design and document cross-functional and global solutions
• Create detailed functional design documents for setup, conversions, interfaces, and reports
• Review functional designs and obtain sign-offs with cross-functional teams
• Provide inputs into business processes based on design capabilities
• Support team in identifying and defining relevant documentation templates
• Prepare and execute testing plans to ensure high-quality results
• Coordinate integration testing and validate test cases with stakeholders
• Coordinate defects clarification and resolution with engineering teams
• Design release scope and schedule in line with business goals and IT capacity
• Configure applications in line with business goals and develop configuration standards
• Monitor implemented systems and processes to ensure high performance
• Manage support requests and lead troubleshooting efforts on critical issues
• Work with functional leadership teams to plan and execute SME training activities
• Define, communicate, and implement support and engagement plans
• Analyze adoption rates and issues and propose solutions to improve

• 5+ years of experience with a proven track record of delivering on large cross-functional Process and Systems initiatives
• 3+ Years of experience in Tier 1 or Tier 2 ERP’s in the Finance space (E.g. Netsuite, Oracle etc.)
• 3+ Years of experience in writing and reading complex SQL queries and building dashboards in visualization tools such as Looker or Tableau
• Strong knowledge and experience of SDLC cycle in SOX controlled environment
• Basic knowledge of API based integration architecture preferred
• Good oral and written communication skills; including process documentation
• Good analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, task and project management, and organizational skills
• Good analysis, project management, and reporting capabilities
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment of other business systems analysts and cross functional peers to support
