About The Position

Ferguson is seeking a Senior Branch Manager to lead the local operations of its Tampa, Florida branch, which sells fire protection products and services. The branch includes a will-call counter, inside sales team, fabrication production facility, and warehouse. The manager will build relationships with customers, vendors, and associates to grow sales of fire protection products and services, including pipe, valves, fittings, tools, fabrication, and design services. The role reports to the Area Manager and has direct oversight of approximately 10 associates.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office software, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.

Nice To Haves

Three or more years of leadership or management experience; preferred but not required.
Prior industry experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead the organization’s customer-facing associates and branch functions.
Develop a team focused on customer service and the implementation of policies and strategies.
Run overall branch operations, including hiring, coaching, and scheduling employees to ensure efficient, high-quality operations.
Maintain adequate inventory levels, promote sales, and maintain the appearance of the branch.
Build and maintain an engaged environment by listening to feedback from leaders, associates, and customers and implementing solutions.
Analyze branch data, identify opportunities, and implement solutions to continuously improve location performance.
Perform work in accordance with established safety standards and adhere to safety policies, rules, regulations, and procedures.
