Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.); or 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in construction materials, building products, steel, rebar fabrication, manufacturing, industrial distribution, construction supply, or related industries.
  • Proven experience leading large teams and multi-functional operations.
  • Strong P&L management experience with responsibility for significant revenue and operating budgets.
  • Experience managing sales, operations, production, logistics, and customer-facing teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate across departments and regions.
  • Outstanding communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to make data-driven decisions and execute strategic initiatives.
  • Passion for developing talent and building high-performing teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Fabrication, reinforcing steel, rebar, post-tension, or related manufacturing experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide overall leadership and management of a high-volume profit center, including operations, sales, customer service, and administration.
  • Lead and develop a team across multiple departments.
  • Drive branch profitability through strategic planning, operational execution, and financial management.
  • Recruit, coach, and develop leaders and team members while building a strong leadership pipeline.
  • Analyze market trends, customer activity, and business performance to identify opportunities for growth and operational improvement.
  • Partner closely with Credit, Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Payable teams to maintain a healthy customer portfolio and strong financial performance.
  • Collaborate with Account Managers and Sales teams to strengthen customer relationships and drive revenue growth.
  • Work closely with Equipment Rental & Sales, Purchasing, Estimating, Production, and Operations teams to ensure alignment and execution across the business.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, suppliers, and industry partners.
  • Partner with Branch Managers and business leaders across Texas to drive consistency, collaboration, and best practices.
  • Champion a culture of accountability, teamwork, safety, and operational excellence.
  • Ensure all employees understand and adhere to company safety standards, policies, and procedures.
