About The Position

Ferguson is seeking a Senior Branch Manager for its Tampa, Florida location, which sells fire protection products and services. The manager leads local operations across a will-call counter, inside sales team, fabrication production facility, and warehouse. The role focuses on building relationships with customers, vendors, and associates to grow sales of fire protection products and related fabrication and design services.

Requirements

Ability to organize, prioritize, multitask, and lead effectively through stressful situations.
Proven ability to use data and metrics to implement effective solutions.
Demonstrated success in problem solving and delivering results.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office software, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.

Nice To Haves

Three or more years of leadership or management experience is preferred but not required.
Prior industry experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead customer-facing associates and branch functions.
Develop the team, with a focus on customer service and implementing policy and strategy.
Manage overall branch operations, including hiring, coaching, and scheduling employees to support efficient, quality operations.
Maintain appropriate inventory levels, promote sales, and maintain the appearance of the branch.
Build an engaged environment by listening to feedback from leaders, associates, and customers and implementing solutions.
Analyze branch data, identify opportunities, and implement solutions to improve overall location performance.
Perform work in accordance with established safety standards and follow applicable safety policies, rules, regulations, and procedures.
