About The Position

The Audiovisual Field Engineer is the technical leader on the front lines of our installations. In this role, you will load control code, configure and tune advanced DSP systems, test signal routing, resolve complex network issues, and perform final system commissioning to transition newly installed spaces over to client success teams.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years in a field-based AV integration, commissioning, or advanced service role.
• Strong background in configuring DSPs (Biamp, Q-SYS), video distribution systems, and complex network-based systems.
• Exceptional troubleshooting capabilities under client observation, deep understanding of signal flow, and strong interpersonal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• CTS-I or CTS-D highly preferred.
• Certifications in Q-SYS, Dante (Level 2 or 3), and Crestron are strongly desired.

Responsibilities

• Conduct final testing and system tuning (audio gain staging, EQ, EDID management, and video calibration) to meet exceptional QA/QC standards.
• Load and test control system configurations (Crestron, Q-SYS, Extron).
• Configure and troubleshoot AV-over-IP networks, managed switches (Netgear, Cisco), and network-dependent hardware.
• Perform live demonstrations, technical run-throughs, and system sign-offs with client IT departments and stakeholders.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, cabling, or configuration failures in high-pressure field conditions.
