About The Position

Zafran is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to own its US-only production environment end-to-end and lead its growing US DevOps presence. This hands-on role combines infrastructure ownership, deployment automation, and collaboration with engineering on application-level investigations. The successful candidate will be Zafran’s first DevOps hire on the ground in the US, working alongside the Tel Aviv DevOps team while helping establish the US site. The role is responsible for deploying, maintaining, scaling, and ensuring the reliability of the prod-us-only environment; designing and managing scalable, highly available AWS infrastructure; and building CI/CD pipelines that help developers ship safely and quickly. The engineer will investigate application errors with engineering, improve monitoring, logging, and alerting, lead production incident response, and coordinate with the Tel Aviv DevOps team on shared platform decisions and standards. The role also includes leading and growing the US-based DevOps function as the site expands. Zafran’s mission is to stop the exploitation of vulnerabilities. Its Exposure Graph maps vulnerabilities across hybrid environments, traces exploitability through real attack paths, and helps neutralize or remediate vulnerabilities where necessary. Zafran is backed by Menlo Ventures, Sequoia Capital, and Cyberstarts. The position requires the employee to be located in the US, with a strong preference for the New York area.
