About The Position

Carvana is hiring a Senior Automotive Painter in Chandler, Arizona. The role involves preparing vehicles to meet Carvana’s quality standards by applying automotive paint and correcting paint finishes in a high-tech vehicle Inspection Center. The position requires at least five years of professional automotive painting experience and skill with base coats, tri-coats, solid, metallic, and clear coats; blending adjacent panels; and paint correction. The posting advertises a $6,000 bonus and competitive wages. Mandatory overtime may be required based on business needs. The work takes place in a fast-paced, changing production environment and may involve exposure to hot or cold weather. Requirements

Highly skilled in applying base coats, tri-coats, solid, metallic, and clear coats.
Skilled in blending adjacent panels and paint-correcting vehicles.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must possess a valid driver’s license; some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools and lift up to 60 pounds independently.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment, sometimes with exposure to excessive heat or cold.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check.
Must be able to work mandatory overtime based on business needs.
