About The Position

Carvana is seeking an Automotive Painter with at least 3 years of professional automotive painting experience. The Mid-Level Painter matches and mixes paint colors and uses water-based paint to paint vehicles in paint booths at a high-tech Inspection Center. The role offers a competitive wage, a $6,000 bonus, and access to company perks and reimbursement programs. Carvana also offers training programs for employees entering at an entry-level position. The regular schedule is 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with overtime on Saturdays. Mandatory overtime may be required based on business needs. Applicants must be at least 18, have a valid driver's license, and be able to read, write, speak, and understand English. Hiring is contingent on passing a background check; this role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 3 years of professional automotive painting experience.
Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools.
Ability to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
At least 18 years of age.
Valid driver's license; some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes exposed to excessive heat or cold.
Ability to use safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Must pass a complete background check.
