About The Position

Carvana is hiring an experienced Auto Painter with at least five years of professional automotive painting experience. The role involves painting vehicles with base coats, tri-coats, solid, metallic, and clear coats; blending adjacent panels; and paint correcting vehicles. Painters work in one of Carvana’s high-tech vehicle Inspection Centers, where cars are inspected and prepared before being listed for customers. The position offers a competitive wage and a $6,000 bonus, along with training programs for entry-level positions that support skills and pay progression. Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check. The role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional automotive painting experience.
• Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license; some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes exposed to excessive heat or cold.
• Use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must pass a complete background check.
