About The Position

Carvana is seeking an experienced automotive painter with at least five years of professional automotive painting experience to prepare vehicles for customers at one of its high-tech Inspection Centers. The role requires advanced painting skills across base coats, tri-coats, solid, metallic, and clear coats, as well as blending adjacent panels and paint correcting vehicles. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and may require mandatory overtime based on business needs. Painters use state-of-the-art tools and may work in a fast-paced production environment with exposure to heat or cold. Hiring is contingent on passing a background check. The role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 5 years of professional automotive painting experience.
Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools.
Ability to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
At least 18 years of age.
Valid driver's license; some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes with exposure to heat or cold.
Use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Pass a complete background check.
