About The Position

Carvana is hiring an Experienced Automotive Painter for its vehicle reconditioning operations. The posting describes the role as a Mid-Level Painter: the painter matches and mixes paint colors and uses water-based paint to paint vehicles inside paint booths. The job is part of a fast-paced production environment focused on preparing vehicles for customers.

The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 4:30 p.m. to 3:30 a.m., with overtime available. Mandatory overtime may be required based on business needs. Applicants must be able to operate vehicle equipment and tools, lift up to 60 pounds independently, and use required protective equipment. Hiring is contingent on passing a background check. The position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional automotive painting experience.
• Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes with exposure to heat or cold.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must pass a complete background check.
• Must use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
