About The Position

Carvana is seeking an Experienced Automotive Painter with at least five years of professional automotive painting experience to prepare vehicles for customers at its vehicle reconditioning center in Belton, Missouri. The role requires skill in applying base coats, tri-coats, solid, metallic, and clear coats; blending adjacent panels; and paint correcting vehicles. The position is based at 15511 E 155th St, Belton, MO 64012, and is scheduled Monday through Thursday from 3:30 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. Overtime opportunities are available, and mandatory overtime may be required based on business needs.

Painters work in a fast-paced, changing production environment and may be exposed to heat or cold. The role involves using tools and safety equipment such as face shields or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, masks, and other protective garments. Applicants must be at least 18, hold a valid driver's license, and be able to read, write, speak, and understand English. Hiring is contingent on passing a background check; the role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional automotive painting experience.
• Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment.
• Willingness to work mandatory overtime based on business needs.

Responsibilities
