About The Position

Carvana is hiring an Experienced Automotive Painter to prepare vehicles for customers at its high-tech Inspection Centers. The role requires advanced automotive painting skills, including applying base coats, tri-coats, solid, metallic, and clear coats; blending adjacent panels; and paint correcting vehicles. The position is located at 15511 E 155th St, Belton, MO 64012.

The regular schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with overtime opportunities. Mandatory overtime may be required based on business needs. The employee will work in a fast-paced, changing production environment and may sometimes be exposed to excessive heat or cold. Use of appropriate safety equipment is required.

Applicants must pass a background check. The role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional automotive painting experience.
• Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license; some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment, sometimes with exposure to excessive heat or cold.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must pass a complete background check.
• Must not require visa sponsorship for this role.

Responsibilities
