About The Position

Carvana is hiring an Experienced Automotive Painter for its vehicle reconditioning operation in Belton, Missouri. The role involves painting vehicles with base coats, tri-coats, solid, metallic, and clear coats; blending adjacent panels; and paint correcting vehicles. Painters work in a high-tech Inspection Center using state-of-the-art tools. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 3:30 p.m. to 2:30 a.m., with overtime opportunities and mandatory overtime when required by business needs. Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check. The role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional automotive painting experience.
• Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools and lift up to 60 pounds independently.
• At least 18 years of age and possession of a valid driver's license.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes exposed to excessive heat or cold.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must pass a complete background check.
